I am a Marriage and Family Therapist intern in private practice in West Los Angeles working under the supervision of Ellen Ledley, LCSW. I have received much of my clinical training as a psychotherapist at the Southern California Counseling Center where I continue to help individuals, couples and families with relational problems as well as anxiety, depression and other mood and behavioral disorders. My eclectic style which is influenced by several therapeutic models allows me to match my clients needs and meet them where they are.

I have been studying, practicing and teaching yoga for the past 18 years. It offers me great personal insight and a path to inner peace. My goal in teaching is to help students become mindful in both yoga practice and in their daily lives, while reducing anxiety and depression for a better quality of life. My training in psychology has introduced me to a wide variety of clients, with a broad range of struggles. My goal remains the same, to help my clients feel better and to improve the quality of their lives through the transformative experience of psychotherapy.

I currently work at Hamilton High School as a counselor helping adolescents better handle the complexities of their daily lives. I have served as President of the Support Council for The Rape Treatment Center at UCLA, Santa Monica Hospital, and as a waiting room volunteer at Stuart House, devoting 15 years to supporting children and their families in their time of great need.
